Excellent news!
Yeah, it seems like there are too much online radio shows that I cannot choose, so another one would be nice.

Of course nothing can replace CBS but these guys are doing a very nice job !!
Good call Mr Pauli. These guys have been up & running for a while, time to show them so robolove.
Indeed ! And we have a lot of love to show in these moments of sheer pressure.
And they just told me mixes and stuff from Robots are very welcome and will be played !
Tune in and get down

Sometimes I listen to http://www.dublab.com
They're very dedicated to their station.
The program varies allot which makes it interesting but also bad at times.

I've been browsing the different suggestions for internet radio, and I'm having a real hard time getting this stream to play correctly without buffering constantly. I've been able to listen to all the other suggestions without issue except this one. I've tried it in Winamp, Itunes, WMP, VLC, and Screamer. I checked the Shoutcast forums for buffering problems and the general response to problems like that are that the source doesn't have enough bandwidth or something. The REAL frustrating thing about it though is that it only doesn't work at my office, at home I can listen to it.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has been having this problem. Times like this make me really miss the CBS....

hey there, I run Magic Waves - we do very occasionally have streaming issues that are related to the shoutcast server, although unfortunately there's nothing we can do about that as we depend on them utterly to broadcast. If problems persist then we do complain to them, and they're supposed to sort it out.
however, if the stream works from your home but not at your work I'd say it's something to do with your work's connection rather than our stream or shoutcast server - I've been monitoring it closely for the past few days and we've had next to no problems and a healthy amount of listeners (which suggests they weren't having problems either).
sorry to say but these are the hazards of running a radio from home almost entirely on your own!! I do apologise and can only suggest that anyone who has specific problems get in touch with me via email and I'll see if there's anything I can do. I should also stress that the majority of listeners have no problem accessing the stream...
good luck getting the stream and hope you enjoy Magic Waves!
Marco & Orpheo are hosting a radioshow called "Weird Science".
I decided to bring this topic up instead of starting a new one, so we don't have too many threads about other streams than cbs ;-)!
I am looking for (web) radio stations that play good (robot-compatible) italo, 80s, synth and also some nice disco/oldschool or new beat.
As far I know and love this bunch:
http://intergalacticfm.com --> of course! (ifm2 preferred)
http://wbmxchicago.ning.com --> "Hot mix dance classics" and "NRG Classics"
http://www.italo.nu
http://www.radiostaddenhaag.com
http://www.hurricanefm.nu
http://www.laut.fm/music-hall
http://www.laut.fm/soundsystem
http://www.laut.fm/k2-bratislava
Thanks in advance!
Aside from CBS I sometimes listen to Tonka, ResonanceFM or "Beyond the Beat Generation". From time to time I'm in the mood for a random shoutcast stream of old-school gabber (it's no use linking to one as they come and go yet there are always a few to pick from). When I'm home on Friday night I sometimes listen to the Electro-Music.com station to catch "The ChucK show". I also recently downloaded most of the archives of this; http://www.turntableradio.com/
I always switch between IFM1, IMF3 and Sleepbot.
myhouse-yourhouse.net
Wow, took more than one month but it seems the thread is coming alive again now!
I must say I always come back to IFM2, especially "Italo Formaggio", still the best out there!
Myhouse-yourhouse.net is also nice for my non italo needs, thanks!
afcourse CBS...but i found another great one not to mention a pioneer in house...
http://wbmxchicago.ning.com/ 64 bit sucks for sure bit on the otherhand those 909's are not sounding any better :-)

I have that in my list already, anyway great station! "Hot mix dance classics" plays a GREAT mix of italo, old school stuff, chicago house and other cool tracks!
I'm lazy, I just fire up Pandora and create whatever station I feel like listening to...varies from day to day.
Check Ràdio Web MACBA http://rwm.macba.cat/. Lots of very diverse stuff here: from generative audio, to the history of sound appropiationism, sound poetry, the underground scene in Estonia and plenty more.
Anyone got a good classic rock radio ? Can't find one for when I can't take electronic sounds anymore !!
