Topic: Help! Mystery equipment from behind the iron curtain.

Here we go:

My friend nicked some old equipment from an old (russian?) submarine that is scuttled in the Amsterdam harbour.

He has no clue what it is. I think it is some kind of amplifier module for radio equipment.

Here it is:

Can someone translate what's on there? I tried babelfish and shit but that don't work in this case.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Help! Mystery equipment from behind the iron curtain.

Thanks guys,

I think there is a tube (as in tube amp) inside. That's what gave me the amplifier cue. You can take it apart real easily and apparently put all kinds of modular crap in.

Re: Help! Mystery equipment from behind the iron curtain.

You think you can actually use it?

i got it.. it's an infrasound amplifier for a drexcian fish party
more likely an anti collision or ground detector device..
maybe it does sounds you cannot hear

No just curious.

Re: Help! Mystery equipment from behind the iron curtain.

woah, missed this. intriguing, but beyond what the text means I've no idea either. A mate of mine was good friends with the ex-commander of a sub in Petersburg, maybe I could e-mail him the photo.

Re: Help! Mystery equipment from behind the iron curtain.

Yeah that would be awesome! Thanks for your interest.
