Re: Am I clean? (the ibej thread)

i am also tired of ebay.
i do not offer records there as often as some years ago...
my last auctions were ok but far from my older business.
this time not one single records was sold for more than 100 USD ...
prices are low now (crisis? italo overkill? end of hype? reprints? all together?)
but i dont complain, i think i am the only seller worldwide who
sold a ZYX pressing of STOP BAJON for 100 USD, an ALAN PARSON 12" for 200 USD and a SUPERSEMPFFT 12" for 200 USD big_smile
but long time ago ...
and another factor is the bad USD rate:
when the money is on paypal you will get for 100 USD about 68,50 euro at the moment....

Re: Am I clean? (the ibej thread)

I sold one time a record on ebay. No profit. Rest of the records I sold were for sale on Discogs. Works good enough. And I have made alot of nice deals with buyers and sellers just by email.

Re: Am I clean? (the ibej thread)

Sold some stuff (the stuff I couldn't trade) on discogs. Never on ebay. Something with the ebay-interface, like bias said, doesn't attrackt me. It sucks that they rise their fees on discogs  (now I have to rise all my prices, only joking ;-). I feel indeed that the major hype of italo is fading a bit, which can only be good (for collectors like me). The "golden years" for (italo)sellers on e-bay are over a bit maybe, you never know when it (a new hype) starts again though.... I suppose all these marketplaces have their downside too, making all these stupid rules. If you're fed up with that, there's always google ofcourse to make some one-on-one deals with a seller. And what about the R4R-forum? smile
