Ronin, your 08 don't fit in your shelf, please ship to me ASAP. I have a shelf that fits it like a glove.
yea but it's got these wood bits on the side. i guess that's fuel reserve for when it gets cold.
give your address, i ship nice electric typewriter brand new +24 years from generation '84.
hahaha!
Novation Nio (2/4 USB Audio Interface)
just acquired from craigslist for free: 1 midi express XT, tascam da-88, alesis ra-100 amp, and a mackie cr-1604 mixer! :]
cloud9: all that stuff for free?!?!?!?!?!!? damn....
cloud9: all that stuff for free?!?!?!?!?!!? damn....
yea dude. a lucky find on craigslist right as i woke up! i freaking could have scored a sampler and synth module if i was on 30 mins before as well but someone was quicker. i was surprised i was still able to get anything as that free stuff goes quick obviously. it turns out the guy i got the stuff from is a composer and writes music for big films since the 1980's. did work on the new batman, hellboy, and showed me some stuff that he did for mummy 3. his studio looked really awesome i didn't know half the stuff i was looking at but it was cool and he played some stuff for me as well before i left.
peekaboo!
Congrats !
I see you have the Pimp-de-luxe version so you must have the editor with it.
Is the editor worth getting ? ( for a synth with all those knobs )
Does it give you extra functions maybe ?
The intelligent random patch generator must be cool huh !?
And making sequences will be easier too i guess...not that that's very hard to do in the first place..
Great synth ! already a classic.

Cloud 9: Luckiest robot ever.
Damn, what city do you live in?
I live in anaheim hills in california i'm on the robot map i fyou want to see exactly and the guy was selling it in venice about an hour away from me! so lucky
Congrats !
thank you. picked it up second-hand. everyday is one of discovery with this beast.
Is the editor worth getting ?
only got it registered today so haven't used it much really.
from appearance it doesn't seem to do anything new apart from the graph display for amp and evelope 3.
there is seperate windows for layer A and B. the graphic knobs show the value. haven't gotten used to the continuous ones on the synth.
i think it makes a nice alternative but definitely not essential.
haven't found the random patch function yet hmmmm... but now i'm curious
Got this booty today... makes fun.
so nice!
it sold mine a few months ago and regret it.
gonna buy it again soon. but im going to buy the rackversion as space is becoming limited in my studio.
Don't get the rack version,
imho it sux .. I mean it's ok but tiring to work with,
the normal keyb bass stat instead sounds maybe not as fat but it's definitely fun to work with and you can get cool acid sounds out of it,
in fact I sold the sbs and if I find a cheap bs keyb I'll get it
my 2 cents anyway
new born today : hs80m...gnammi!
It's a lot of fun to play with this little toy. I read, that the super bass station makes more stronger sounds. Any experience or competition?
I see the only advantage of the rack version in the Line-in function (okay, you can store more of your own sounds), so you can use it as effect.
I bought this only for basslines and acidstuff, TBs are too expensive these days.
picked up an RS7000 yesterday.
Now to sell the rm1x!
Got one of these the other day
One of these is in the mail on the way right now

as far as I remember the sbs also has a sub oscillator that the normal keyb has not
don't get the sbs rack.. it's crap. either that or the one i have is broken, because it's not even usable for anything else than as cv-midi converter. the sb with keys seems much better.
but what are the differences then apart from having keys?
