real shame about the cavendish disqualification, I'm sure those who don't like him see him force the norwegian into the barriers, but it looks to me like the road just got thinner..

But when you are riding you see the road getting thinner and you have to keep the same distance from the boarding no?

indeed, easily the most thrilling stage so far! Contador #1. Fightin with the Tour de France organization last year (winning Giro and Vuelta),and this year against his own team, that they worked for Armstrong until yesterday

yeah, was surprised at the schlecks, especially when armstrong came back to one of em on the last climb.

was hoping to see Lance fall a little in GC today, with Wiggins taking 2nd overall. I still think we might see that tomorrow, but I also expect Contador to really try to open the gap between him and Wiggins.
So everyone hates Cavendish and he has no chance of green now, I really, really hope he will win in Paris tongue

this is really not a matter of his nationality ;-) but Wiggins... I mean... Losing 7 kilos and training hard ok... but how a guy that could cross a steep bridge last season is now in such a good position... I'm not talking about doping, cos this change is much spectacular... I don't know, a true enigma... On the Giro, he was already following the best, so in a way i'm not so surprised, but even the specialist are just considering now that Wiggins could end up on the podium
In fact, he's now the best opponenet to Contador (the only one with Kloden that could probably take some time to Contador on the time trial among the top ranked). So let's see...
Poor Voigt, might end his great career on that... arrr, it was horible to see...

i like cavendish but chapeau to Hushovd, cycling over a 1st category climb 1min 30 seconds ahead of the chasing group and 5 mins ahead of the peleton!
