The German opening, really good. I think the dutch opening was the same as the German, but I'm not sure cause as a kid I used to watch German tv a lot... (I'm actually not even sure whether it was broadcasted at all in Holland). Anyway, the German version had it's own soundtrack, which is really very good. It was bootlegged a while ago. Most known track is probably 'Feinde Greifen An' ('Enemies Attack'). At 4:56 you can hear it:
that soundtrack is so good! There are many great tracks on it, it's totally Space Disco. Christian Bruhn is usually a succesful producer for German "Schlager" music (the most awful music imaginable imo), but that C.F. stuff he did is just brilliant!

It has a selection of only 5 tracks on it, but on the OST there are many other great tunes..
I loved that series as a child btw, too bad it's not on TV anymore, I still enjoy watching it!

I could easily forget cause there are so many! I try to be selective which is hard (tempted to show everything which pops in my head which would be waaaay too much). That Pinoccio ia a cute one though. Funny to see everyone remember's the version in their own native language.

Wow... I hope this is what it is... I think I might have seen this, but I'm not 100% sure... I do remember a mini series that involved a huge and treacherous game, a bit like the movie 'The Game' (with Sean Penn and Michael Douglas). I watched it when I was working a night shift more then 15 years ago. I remember it so exactly not only because it was really very impressive, but also because the tape I watched it from had the last 15 or 30 minutes missing...

Ah, someone who recognizes this! I also remember to have seen it on Dutch television. It must have been on the KRO or NCRV cause I recon the intro is really Christian. It couldn't have been aired at nighttime but I think somewhere around 23.00u. in the evening cause it's a quite scary. It's a man who owns a company making computergames who gets involved in a reallife game started by an old businesscompanion. It's really english and I like it a lot! On IMDB http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095782/ you can read in the comments that many people suspect the later David Fincher's movie The Game could have gotten its ideas from this tv-series....I wouldn't know but they surely got a lot of simularities.
Bought the DVD on e-bay some months ago. Many sellers in the UK got it then so I think it can still be found there.
Yeah when I saw that movie I immediately figured it was a adaptation, I didn't know till now that it officially it isn't.
