Is that your knob board? and do you know how to solder? If so, try putting couple of caps across the output pins of a really bad encoder, and see if it gets any better. It worked wonders for my A5000. Its jumpy menu knobs made it totally unusable till I fixed them this way.
Yes thats one of the 3 boards that are in the PEK for controls.
Its directly on the print, but i dont have skills to replace the encoders (there are way too many also hehe 70+ orso)
Too bad the P08PE, comes now, it should have been there from the start, Dave Smith has lost a lot of goodwill in the scene for current DSI PEK/MEK and PO8 owners...
I used DeoxIt on all encoders, it works (for now) Although I read a posting from a guy I know, who serviced his the same time (2 weeks before) as mine, and he has faulty enocoders popping up again
Well thats what you get for a 8/4voice analog poly for 2000 EUROs I guess, its too damn cheap for real quality
