What is the goal and usage of this website ? Compared to something such last.fm ? just wondering

Usage seems to be quite high with a lot of respectable labels, Lemmings. Can't really compare it to last.fm, 'cos I haven't bothered to try it yet
I dont know what soundcloud is. can you send me them? I promise to listen then destroy

Really dig the site/service!
For those who aren't familiar: You can upload your tracks and mixes for free. You can embed your music via player widgets that you could customize. You can upload album artwork for your stuff. Chose who you share your stuff with, etc.
It also has a little bit of a social networking thing going in that you can comment other people's work, and "follow" people so you get updates of when they add new tracks, etc. - but it's just for music/sound so it's pretty much just DJs, producers and labels on there.
Seems like you have to pay for it in the future.
I stopped suporting after that.
They should pay me.
I stick to ovi for sharing and if i wanna put stuff on for download i'll use my robotj.net acount.
They have different levels of subscription. They still have the free service which is just fine for my casual use.
