I really, really would like to have Space Museum on vinyl. Minimal Wave, Vinyl-on-demand, anyone to get it rereleased?
looks interesting, thanks
Two questions... what the fuck are they saying and who's Erwin Blom?
Yes, I'd appreciate a translation
Btw, you can grab the tape here
i've heard that some people have looked into re-releasing solid space, but the artists refused to - apparently they don't like that release! it's really tragic....
Veronica from Minimal Wave has tried to talk them into letting her do a vinyl release a number of times, but they refused. She said they were talking with another label about doing a possible release, though.
Ah, so there have been discussions about it. At least I'm glad the idea isn't completely overlooked
thanks for the link henri
that interview could be with the dutch magazine VINYL

looks interesting, thanks

dutch music writer/journalist for several dutch magazines such as vinyl which i mentioned in my earlier post
It's from VINYL indeed. A magazine from the early 80ies totally dedicated to modern music in it's most radical forms. In fact, it's quite likely the genre name minimal electronics found it's origin in those VINYL/VPRO circles around stephen emmer / richard zeilstra / erwin blom etc. with their unique focus on everything between steve reich and kraftwerk.
Here's an interview with another band quite popular in CBS circles:
Offtopic, but, --/~~~~, are you by any chance Gor/Spartak?
