I was already working on a sophisticated picture / type solution, but some problems got on the way, image copyright to mention the biggest one.
have a look:

if buying images on istock and simmilar isn't an option, you can always search the net for creative commons licensed images, flickr for example has tons, also in high resolution...
unless it's for magazines or sth very particular i sometimes take snapshots of interiors or stuff myself and then work on those...
problem is simple, I have a specific view of what pics should be, so it's either working with a photographer, which I do, or searching the right one, which I do it too. There is no money for both, so I prefer to skip and find economical solutions that I can control better than hoping for something good on flickr or sticking to royalty free.

I see, nice pictures, wish my parents had such nice living rooms. Still same problem with copyright. I think pictures is not a good solution for this small label, I prefer to use illustration or just type for them

if you have problems to get the images or photos, why don't you take the photos yourself?
i think the yellow on black, and the tanzstube with diagonal red liine, (but needs another font) are the ones to work on.
i like the furniture idea too, you should work on that one. forget the others
