here at english electric we like to keep it simple.

cake.

4 eggs
self raising flour
sugar
butter
vanilla extract
(milk)

oven 180 c


weigh eggs.
weigh out the same amount of flour, sugar, butter.

cream the butter
add sugar 1/3rd at a time
get fluffy

add 1 egg at a time, beating each egg in to mixture
with the last egg add 1 spoon of flour

sieve all the flour in, fold into mixture.

(add milk if mixture is a bit stiff)

(if your after a chocolate cake- add some quality cocoa -about 3 big fucking spoons)

cake in tins in oven

25-30 mins

cake's your mate.
