all week ive been sayign to myself "yeah, no worries, it'll be fine. Its just me and my flat mate but we can handle it. no worries." "Ive hired the van, everythings packed... blah blah blah"
its tomorrow now and Ive only just realised how much a pain in the arse this is going to be!!
Ive moved 6 times in the last 4 years... I should be used to this by now!!
is moving really as much as a pain in the arse as I think it is?
moving's a bitch. i moved 4 times in under 2 years once, it got to the point where i had thrown out everything but essentials and everything was just kept in boxes.

Haha yep! It's always been a pain in the ass for me. I think my own personal hell would be moving a double mattress up and down a stairs.... forever.

I've always thought the process of moving out sucks a lot more than the process of moving in.
a moving without a piano staircase experience is not a proper moving...
courage for yours, mine was really complicated (but no piano also, god damnit)

i really hate it so much, i've been moving for friends 5 times the last 2 years, and it's getting more painfull every time. ofcourse big furnitures down the stairs is hell, but so are records!
The only positive thing with moving is it always ends with pizza, joints and beers
im stressing out sooo much right now.
moving is fun, you get to carry stuff up and down... take it as a work out. after work out you can eat pitsa and drink manymany beers.

let's face it, moving is like taking a trip to satan's jockstrap. nothing enjoyable about it! just blood sweat and tears.

Moving house is one of the most singularly shitty things to do on the planet! Especially if you're not organised and don't really want to leave your current place (my situation a few weeks ago!).
Put it off and Put it off until the very very last minute; angry landlords, moving stuff in taxi's in the middle of the night, 'orrible!
I'll fill you in on the story Meschi when you come up on the 19th!

sounds a bit like my situation last week, was happy where I was, but sometimes you got to move for whatever reason.
it is a pain in the arse like. thankfully I had two heavies to help me and a nice cd for the drive.
Worst bit is probably not the moving out but the setting up in the new place, especially if you're like me and just shove everything into black bags. still haven't sorted anything out 1 week in, other than my computer, decks and speakers
Moving is one of the most horrible things, ever. I'm thinking about moving again (I've been in my current place a month), but it might be easier to just smash my face into a wall repeatedly. Hope the move went well, anyway.

Pack up My house, pack up my mates house, pack up his girlfriends house, move to flat, unpack everything.
