IMO weak special about Italo Disco. Very much leaned against STRUT's recent italo release ....

-> yeah, you are right. had it for breakfast this morning. the article is very dry and doesn't really transfer the feeling of this special kind of music. it's only "fakten, fakten, fakten..." (probably because it was written by the guy who was also involved in that "last night a dj saved my life" book) and some of those facts doesn't even really matter... mallorca, miniskirts, the romanow dynasty...
i guess people who are not familiar with all those names and clubs that were mentioned won't get an idea of italo disco, i mean what it sounds like...
