sad   just came back taking part at Freeze R'dam 2008 in the centrum for 5 min. standing still in this horrible Rain Y DaY but it was fun!

well, off the topic in a way...

it's Yom Kippur, one of the most important jewish holiday. (for farther reading).
the religious people use to spend the holiday fasting and praying.
because of the important of the day everything (shops, offices, what ever you can think of) is close, no cars are driving around, nothing. just like the world is stopped for one day.
i just woke up from my evening nap, everything is so quiet, except the kids on the street who riding their bikes (there are no cars, so you can ride it in the middle of the road).

as for the weather it's around 22 c and less humid then usual.
i'm gonna go for a walk.
