Most ridiculous Italo Non-Sequitur

Good idea for a long-running thread, this - the number of non-sequiturs in Italo is infinite!

Non-sequitur...hmm had to google that one up. I understand now that it's latin for a conclusion that doesn't follow out  of the premises. Anyhu..I get what you mean concerning italo. Here's another one of it's charms. I'll think of some..

One of my favorites is Marzio, "Phantom of the Opera". Not so much a non sequitur as it is an odd and eloquent group of words:

"Long ago now,
and once upon a time,
here stood a theatre,
with music of a different kind."

"Long ago" and "now" seem to contradict one another.
Brilliant song.
