Re: Cern

"Steve Myers, head of the accelerator department, confided that today's protons were not the first things to circulate in the LHC. While preparing the machine they sent smart "pingpong" balls through, to make sure the pipes were clear and the sensors working. When one of these mini-Sputniks got stuck, they had to fire in a second to knock it free."

I think they did it for the lulz

Re: Cern

So, has the world been sucked into a black hole yet? Any news?

Honey, in the morning the bees are singing and the birds are stinging in an open head surgery.

Tx, for the answer. Wouldn't want to look like a fool at work tomorrow. "What the hell are you doing here, don't you know the world got sucked into a black hole yesterday?"

Honey, in the morning the bees are singing and the birds are stinging in an open head surgery.

it happened several times now, but the other side of the black hole appears to be exactly the same and the change happens at lightspeed so you don't notice

They'll come and eat everything they get...

Re: Cern

The collision testing will begin on 21/9

Re: Cern

"so how fast does it download porn..."

A very relevant question.
When the LEP is finally mounted on the LHC, the UDP rate should hopefully reach about 994553.14 n! facials per nanoseconds FPNS.

No but really, im sure gonna mark the 21/9 date for the collision testing.

Of course most of this is always gonna be speculative but some are even more popular speculating than others
But i dont know..

the full truth
"But the media failed to report the full truth, that the tail of Halley's comet was rarer than the finest vacuum on Earth, and that all the debris and gas inside the tail could probably fit inside something like a suitcase"

Re: Cern

Some well informed humans from the future have taken their time-machine in order to stop the experience.
