i think it's because music in the past was made by real musicians.
maybe, but maybe it's because they knew they were creating something new or at least exciting, and didn't have much to compare it to?
it's the same with todays movies IMO.
i think i like it a lot ... its like a soundtrack ... i think his main influence for this maybe is the Automat - the rise,advance,genius ... maybe its sounds silly but it came to my mind while listening to it ...
I've heard better from mr. Lindstrom. 'Further into the future' for example..
