I would write Joe Longo / Pal Joey. Seems like a cool enough guy.
Or hit K-Alexi up on MySpace, he usually answers back.

I hear Mad Mike never touches compression.

I spoke to someone who asked him and that's what he said. So it's just hearsay.

Showing the way for the modern man to become a Model Man.
That sounds like Phochos
Did anyone mention the Yamaha SY series .. Moby a goGo!.
And Jeff Mills
like the pics and the music but together it makes no sense to me, is that somethimg official?
he made the music for the Dune game to the Amiga and a lot of other games during the 90's.
cool stuff
damn it now i want a wavestation too
there's a pretty good plugin of that
no one wants to sell me a W-30. fells like i'm hunting with a flashlight on the dark side of the moon here.
how about using the amiga? (saw the talk about it in the gear new thread) do you use octamed smackos?
i've got the a600 and the a1200 both have the same sound chip if i'm not misstaken..
then run the amiga through an ms10 to get true 90s hague sound
Roland D-50. My first synth. I sold it... I thought it was corny. I still regret it now...
@ratsnake : but I still have my Atari ST from that time... with the Cubase floppy disk
i want a ST just for that "1-2-3 techno" robot voice. lol
i'm amigan here 100%. just that robot voice on the atari is classic.
there's a pretty good plugin of that
yeah that korg digital collection or what's it called is quite good from what i remember, at least compared to the analogue collection.
the M1 and some other synth is also in that digital collection i think.
dune = best game ever
wholeheartedly agree with you on that!
so the guy who made the music for dune (the general midi thing) also made the same music with synths for the CD version or wut? i even sampled the general midi electro from the diskbased version..so phat
np:08_-_carthag_sietch
Chris Huelsbeck did the same thing and released the Turrican 2 soundtrack on cd.
There was also the Roland MT-32 soundtrack version for PC's
http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=t9K2UxJTgGM
The MT-32 is ofcourse also early 90s house sound (or techno maybe more)
yeah more synths keep em coming smackos.
ok just one more amiga track, you have to listen to this from 92-93. I think after the dune soundtrack this is my fav amiga tune at least for 2mins of listening before it gets looped too many times:

Yeah that must be the Roland LAP?
Some people just had the MT-32 on top of the PC with a joystick MIDI cable and there was also the dumbest but also coolest looking MT-32 version the CM32L:
There was also the CM32P which was a Roland U110 in that cooler looking box...the U110/U220 is ofcourse also classic early 90's house sound
