That's so un-classy that i'd want one in my livingroom.
I know, right?
Mexican artist Racrufi caught my attention recently.
Some examples:
Here he is:
Pretty cool stuff!
You can check out more of his work here:
hmmm....that kinda looks like the illustrations on my "magic the gathering"-cards when i was an adolescent.

Looks a lot like Simon Stålenhag's work! I think he's been posted here before.

Yes, they're also both concept artists (mostly for video games) and they both use computers to create their "paintings".
That last one with the goat got me thinking of Martin Jacobson, they way he uses brush strokes with unmixed paint to achieve effects
didn't know about him, very nice stuff
he had also some etchings (or graphite pencils? or whats its called in english) nice.
väldigt fint som sagt, tack för tipset!
Saw his stuff at Nordiska Akvarellmuseet this summer, had never heard of him before. I was actually so blown away I immediately bought a book in the shop.
Here are a few more that I really like. The one with the birches really illustrates the best what I meant about using brushstrokes in different colours, especially in the grass.
Glad you like it! Det var så lite så!

Can anyone recall contemporary artist creating abstract "vintage" animations with very cool vintage synth sounds?
Similar to these but just more pop so to speak.

Hm, not sure, but it made me think of a cool one I saw at KW in Berlin, at the One-on-One exhibition in 2013. It was by Jeremy Shaw, called "Introduction to The Memory Personality" and had strong Beyond the Black Rainbow-vibe to it. But maybe you were thinking of something more abstract?
