Hockey genius Vladimir Krutov passed away too early
^Damn
I may be outta line here but speaking of hockey, RIP to Nicklas Lidstroms career. Being from Detroit I know how bad this guy will be missed. I didn't even cry when my GF broke up with me but I did when I listened to this retirement press conference. One of the best to ever do it and the classiest most humble dude I've ever seen. Enjoy retirement sir.

Gerrit Komrij
Died two days ago at age 68. Dutch writer, poet, critic, etc. I always liked his presence on radio and tv. Rest peacefully.
Here he is in a commercial for a bookstore:

R.I.P. Joe Kubert, legendary comic book artist
RIP Tony Scott.
What the hell happened?
Sweden's biggest news site, Aftonbladet.se (also known for not writing 100% correct information all the time) wrote a brief article when the news about Tony's death became known.
They refered to Tony's brother Ridley as "the man behind the film Titanic".
I'm sorry, but wasn't that James Cameron?
In my opinion Ridley Scott has directed several of the most seminal movies in the last 35 years.
As if it wasn't tragic enough that his brother has passed away after jumping from a bridge (or how it happened), his most memorable film seems to be not Alien, Blade Runner or Gladiator but...Titanic?
RIP Neil Armstrong. You boldly went where no man had gone before
...which reminds me of when we had a physics test at junior high school.
One of the questions was "Who was the first man on the moon"
I totally blacked out and wrote Louis Armstrong
However, my physics teacher never discovered my mistake and my answer was considered as correct!
