Re: What new booty have you acquired?
Rescued one of these from my brother's basement. Sounds like crap, but in a charming way. This plus a few synths and pedals is way more fun than I had imagined it would be. Refreshing change from DAW land.

Bought an Eventide Harmonizer H949, in need of repair.
It turns on properly, all the buttons and knobs respond and LED display works, but the input is overloaded all the time and I can't get any sound from the machine, except some hiss on Line level and crack here and there.
automatique: no idea, i traded it for my arp axxe.. but probably between 500 and 800 euro, something like that..
oh, and whoever asked about the tapes for the revox g36: i use it with sm-911, but thats overkill.. but i have nothing else..
it'll run on anything simple that its set up for..
Boss DR 110 - great simple little drum box and I love the silver flap cover thing.
Its standard at the moment but whats the preferred way to sync these things. midi mod or din sync? any links/kits/diy to recommend? or just leave it stock?
very nice machine the 110 there are mods but i quess it usable like this to

acidlab has supersmall dinsync kit for it, quite easy install also..i just added one for my dr-110 recently
Resonance in the house...
Had the rs7000 for about 3 weeks now. Does almost everything I need it to. So much easier to program than the xl7, for me anyway. The only thing that bugs me is there's not count in in the sampling Kit+note mode. A minor complaint I suppose, but it seems baffling that it wasn't included.

I gues thats a good deal. There was an axxe from Belgium for about 650 on eBay and one from sweden for 750 lately. A little research has shown that the mighty polivoks goes for about 800 to 1000 or more on eBay. I would like to hear some decent sounds in the future since i'm curious about this thing for years. The youtube videos don't payem justice soundqualitywise I think.
Woow a Polyvoks.
They are pretty awesome!
Is it modified with cv/gate?
This is flying all the way from Australia to Switzerland:
mono: not yet, but it's going to get the mod one of these months.
automatique: well, i got that arp super cheap, so for me it was a nice deal. and i didn't find it that special.. the super neat thing about the polivoks is apart from the filter bla bla, for me that it has looping envelopes on both the filter and vca, completely seperate. you can set up these insane polyrhytmic loops with these that, unlike when you use something like sample & hold, are not completely random but form a repeating pattern. this thing would be an experimental minimal wave artists' dream..
Ok great Ruud.
If you like looping envelopes get a WASP.
That things is really killer like the Polyvoks!
Made a trade for one of these. Still like my 999 more but i've never had a 909 before so it'll be nice to experiment with the real deal.
Congrats for polivoks rude66!
Great machine, brute and beautiful.
As for modding:
Cutoff-CV can be done fairly easy, too
(via Pedal-In socket/circuit)

Happy!
There's just something going on with the back-up memory. After shutdown the sequencer gets full of insane drum mess - corroded battery compartment could be the one to blame. Hopefully that gets fixed.
It's most certainly the battery problem, do you have any inside? Their purpose is to store the memory.
