You had someone going round Northern Ireland pretending to be you.

Re: nice interview regarding new techniques for djing with some english dj

damn, this thread really disappoints me

i hoped this would start a discussion about djing and the effects of different techniques/data carriers etc. on the experience of djing

how typical, all these topics on this forum becoming bollocks in a couple of posts sad

and bias isn't even involved

Re: nice interview regarding new techniques for djing with some english dj

maybe it's best to hire a buff male model to air deejay to your pre-recorded set.

i don't care what your using as long as you play good music, but i think they'll have to come up with a new name for guys like him cause using ableton is not dj-ing.

maybe computer controller or music putting onner or guy with the files

Re: nice interview regarding new techniques for djing with some english dj

not for me since i like scratching, cd players are crap to me too, you can scratch on them but can't shove the song around like a record you have to mix with the pitch control and i don't like that.
no needledrop skipping trough a song.

those programs that give you records to control the files with are cool to me, you can record whatever at home and play scratch or do whatever with them after.

ableton i guess for certain let's dance the night away music might be better because of extending and shit.

once ableton can be controlled by a record it will be the shizznitt.

there might be a way of tricking traktor (with control vinyls) into doing what you'd like. not sure, just an idea. maybe i'll try that out one day.
