fb is a way for fbi/cia/government to spy on people. everybody is there with their real names, addresses, jobs, etc. the internet was born to be free and anonymous, and this is a threat to government.
Probably why forums are so quiet nowadays, cos of FB.
yeah, facebook quite literally is the whole internet for some people now - pretty much their entire online presence revolves around that and nothing else.

According to some study i read, social media is to blame for mass killings in Norway and Finland. And also it is the reason why the far right is growing in Europe: the losers feel empowered because they find many like-minded people in facebook, forums etc. In the real world, they would never get enough support from people around them. Social media is destroying civilization.
So, the only answer is to nuke the internet.
partly agree with your statement, it's true that one can easily get in touch with people he otherwise would never meet in real life. But on the other hand: retards ALWAYS find each other at some point in life.
yeah but now it's even easier. if you have a homicidal urge towards a certain race, the internet brings together ALL of the worlds homicidal maniacs. before, if you lived in a small town you were probably the only one with those thoughts. and all of these maniacs have been from small towns!
