Its handy as a background filler with broken beats and such. Also it can host 3rd party synths & fx, thats also nice.
Timing is very tight, I have it slaved to Logic midiclock as a standalone plugin. Audio is routed via 8 ADAT channels in my MOTUs to a 4 x stereo bus send, which I can pickup seperatly in my Logic Mixer enviroment ...yihaa.
Also I wanna do some Muslimgauze kinda stuff with it (industrial Middle eastern flavoured noise, incl TRT kompression)
I think it will be perfect for that.
You can make your own custom skins aswell at some webshops
I got the white skin and wooden sidepanels (which also tils the unit to a more ergonomic position) from ebay.

Where did you get it? How it sounds compared to x0xb0x?

straight from acidlab.de ... i haven't used a x0xb0x myself, but yeah this thing sounds great.
better/more authentic than bassline2 to my ears. the seq is really great, and the added midi mode makes it possible to get even more complex with your acidlines.
thinking about buying this off my guitarist buddy but for my x0xb0x:
it sounds really good and brings a lot more interesting and dynamic form distortion than just my boss ds-1 (though i stand by the ds-1 for more traditional distortion). i gotta find out what he paid and all that jazz though first but he's letting me borrow it and i really dig it!

Great one isnt it? very broad range of sounds from that thing from very clean to very dirty. And it is almost a full blown synth minus the OSCs.....
Korg Monopoly
ARP Odyssey MK3 Orange with the orange/brown leather on the end panels and a fitted hard case.
Both in very good condition but the sliders on the Odyssey will need replacing in the near future.
Swapped for my V-Synth XT plus cash difference (got a tax refund)
Nice Koova Nice!
I always regretted selling the Monopoly and have tried to re-create the cross mod effects using the modular but it never sounded the same. I've also been playing chords on the monopoly which is something I never really appreciated last time I had one.
mono/poly is my favourite! good one koova.. ps. just got your latest AC release. good stuff!
Thanks CRC.

great stuff guys!
Damn that MB-808 looks fantastic!
Sneak - look amazing, how long did it take (if it hadn't been stretched over all those years!) and any idea of the total cost??
@rarara: it took years because i didn't know what to do about machining the case and i could only spend a minimal amount on this project.
in march i finally found a guy in the Netherlands who could cut & engrave the acrylic front panel for a good price.
then in june when i had a bit more money i ordered the main parts from mouser.com. it took time to find all sorts of part substitutes because the original parts list was too old.
as for building it, i spent a few hours a day over the last 2 weeks soldering, finding the errors on the pcb, machining the rest of the case and figuring out themods
all in all, i spent 360 euro (!) and maybe 50-60 hours of actual building.
