Re: New COCKpits & GearPics
Sneak, do you use the AN1X as a MIDI controller? I was thinking about ditching my current Edirol controller and just using my AN1X.

A quick grainy shot taken at the new place... not yet all setup, but cable spaghetti already growing. This time I have a good foot between the monitor and back wall, the opposite wall is full of books. maybe I just need to hang something under the ceiling.
Whoah that is very serious. Hey you got some new stuff! What's that keyboard with the light blue graphics?
Siel Opera 6
current positioning of the gear boxes: adafruit x0xb0x #819, dsi desktop evolver, and boss dr-660
off to the side not in the shot i have my roland juno-106 (needs voice chip acetone treatment and general servicing) with everything running through my spirit fx8 mixer. i'm a minimal noise & sound bot for sure
p.s. i assure you guys i'm not the cat! i'm just lucky he likes to hang around
ah ah super!
Just got me a EA-1 last week, love this little synth
tweakers heaven:
@Septic: Your setup is fantastic but I'm going to have to chastise you about sticking your monitors near the rear wall and in the corners... unless you want exaggerated and unrealistic bass frequencies:
low frequency resonances in a room have their points of maximum pressure in the corners of the room
Jiesos Septic, that is just riddics!
DIK zeg!
Mooi hoor! Hoe moet ik me dat voorstellen, slaapkamer, garage of...?
Thx guys
@ Brian:
De grootste slaapkamer van de woning Ik slaap zelf in een hok van 1,5 x 3,5 ofzo hehe
Gaaf.
Septic,

Well I run it as a standalone app synced to Logic Pro, unfortuneatly the MAschine isnt multcore supported (yet) so you must take that into consideration. I run it on a DEC2005 2.66 Quadcore MacPro and I works okay for me. But when you load in aload of third party plugins on each part, well then it eats alot.
When using only (sample) drumkit kits on 4-6 parts it eats around 10-15% CPU

Good to know. I had a feeling adding plug-ins and stuff would get pretty taxing, so was thinking about routing out to pedals etc. and then back in.
I'm really interested in hearing this machinedrum parameter lock-type stuff people are talking about...
