tonnes of chances. my last job i sat beside a polak from toren. php and linux were his skills.
we keep in contact and he is still doing well. i can foward his email to you if you want? he can tell you all about it.
the biggest and best job sites are jobsite.co.uk and jobserve.co.uk
you can find permanant and contract work from both. contract pays alot more but is shorter term.
right now the economy is recovering from the credit crunch but there is still alot of IT work in London
can't really comment on the rest of the country though
if you have skills that are applicable in the construction industry then you have to be an immigrant from eastern europe. might help in the hard times.
You can stay with both ytz and byron for a while until you have found a reasonably priced apartment in London, no problem
there is no such thing as a reasonably priced apartment in london

@bias, send me an email through the forum. your login doesn't have an email link
is this a long winded plan to come to one of my UK gigs and punch me in my stupid bearded face?
Because I would applaud you if it was.
there is no such thing as a reasonably priced apartment in london
then bias will stay at your house longer. Hackney, was it?

i can help you solve that problem
that would be great man. we were thinking of extending out the back of the house and building another room on the place.
if you are an electrician we could do with some help
I can save you time, labor, and money by just removing part of your vinyl and all that for free.

Shit, now I promised already
Bots,
I am reloading this topic because I have a friend in London that is looking for a job - she is currently a waitress at a restaurant but was just a temporary job.
She'd like to stay in London, so no other fancy places across the UK like Cambridge, Edinburgh or anywhere else.
She is up for any decent job, so not only in restaurants or bar, also babysitting and the like.
If any of you know about some place who is looking for a person, please let me know and I'll forward her the details.
thanks,
a.
Highest unemployment rates since 1997.
Watch out for this man.
