we're too old, i've just discovered facebook.. 
I like twitter /mono_poly
But i'm still avoiding facebook.
i use facebook to keep big brother style tabs on my 10 year old daughter.
what really fucking annoys me about facebook though is twats with their iphone updating their status 5 times a day about how their baby has just learned to fart or how they are just enjoying a mozarello and pesto sandwich with a frothy cappacuino, hmm nice
twitter is a more specialised version of the above

someone who i know who just had a baby was doing exactly that and it was so annoying!

as for twitter, i registered an account for it years ago but never ended up using it. i get emails all the time to say that bots are following me, which is quite annoying. i can't exactly see what the point is of creating bots for twitter...

They used to post twitter messages of people who shared their current location, but they discontinued this "service".

There was a funny project a while ago from the guys from the Hague: Teletekst is dood.
They used twitter to see where people were and what they were doing and drove there to shout at them with a megaphone.... see if I can produce the link...

Yeah, get @ me ... I didn't want to make a twitter b/c the name rubbed me wrong but now that I finally tried it it's really great.
I'm txting all the time anyways, this just maximized it and turned it into a weird game.
