Castlevania is for little Japanese girls, real men play text adventures BMX, you know that
That settlers for the Nintendo DS is a disgrace, I am still sorry I got that for you (but for reconciliation I got it myself too later)...supposedly you can't continue at a certain point due to some major bug or bad game design....I was too lazy to bring it back to the games shop.
I tried to find a M1 tank platoon youtube movie but all I got were M1's in iraq and this one http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=1GJ-0-K2v3A
I didn't notice the bugs at first, I was only at chapter 3 when you told me about them. But later I noticed them and they are nasty. Some chapters won't load (I think it was chapter 7, not sure) and theres a Roman campaign that you can't finish. And sometimes it freezes when you zoom in and out so you loose all the progress you made, which is the most nasty bug I encountered. And in one chapter, my ships didn't bring any supplies but I read that that bug gets 'solved' when you turn of the sound effects and music (which I vaguely remember was also an issue in the Amiga version).
Anyway, I did enjoy the parts that did work, so I figure it's not a complete disappointment.
what a bummer. did you try the ds-10 synthesizer yet? anyway amiga...
HOSTAGES was awesome
yes hostages! Totally forgot about that one, that atmosphere was really nice, it was really easy I remember but still good fun.
Addams family for the Amiga was a kickass platformer, really underrated.
bruce lee
hmm didnt play those...played FRIGHT NIGHT the other day..that used to freak me out, especially the intro. but i can handle it now

pah...maybe you should post in the shoe topic
I actually had Castlevania on the Amiga, it was pretty obscure (I think some US company did some NES ports at that time)...I played it 2 times probably I am not good at these kind of games
Another really cool Amiga game:
Centurion Defender of Rome
Unless you have played Symphony of the Night, you havent lived. Its totally different from the old castlevania (which sucked).
Anywayyy.. Hunter had a really cool atmosphere.. Crazy 3d for back then
Same with damocles
sword of sodan had sik gfx ..really weird animation to..and the soundeffects..after you stop playing the game you would hear them in your head for days
Yeah there was some weird flanging phasing shit going on in that game
Are any of you actually still playing games? My Amiga is looking for a 2nd life after I switched to Renoise for sequencing. I might as well hook it up to my tv and play games. Is it easy to download stuff and put it on a floppy? Any good links / resources out there?
Its a bit of a hassle since the PC and Amiga drives are not entirely compatible. You can read PC disks on the amiga tho.
Basically: write dms file to disk from pc, mount pc0: on amiga, then UNDMS to second drive. Hassle!
I tried Winuae two years back. After I extracted the kickstart rom image from my Amiga, I had trouble booting the workbench and it was too much hassle to figure out what I did wrong. I'll have a look at BMX's suggestion on a rainy day, perhaps I can be more persistent.

yes gtaIV on a ps3, just a little bit better than bruce lee, online killing and racing is very nice.
If you just go for like 10 golden games its not too much of a hassle. Mayebe you have a HDD for your amiga even, in that case its somewhat easier.
I still semi-regularly play Beat Box on Pinball Dreams. I use Winuaex on xbox.
that reminds me i gotta get Pinball Fantasies, thanks
wow turns out Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies were both games of DICE who now make the Battlefield series..coolex
Plenty of Amiga games here:
the otherday some crackheads broke into my cellar storage where i've been keeping my amigas for a while. mostly they just stole junk and luckily they left my A1200, can't find my 600 tho.. well i'm glad they were stupid to leave the 1200...
