106 question

So I am thinking about finally opening up my Juno 106 and doing the acetate trick on the chips. I had it up in test mode to figure out which of them are bad, when I noticed with both square and saw turned off, the sub and res on the filter turned down I am getting sound. Does everyones do this or am I going to have to try to fix all of the chips? All help is greatly appreciated.
