Should i buy Yamaha dx 100 for 175$?
Yeah but if you can get a DX21...its a much bigger and most of the time way cheaper, its 2 dx100's in one synth with extra pitch envelope and a really nice analog chorus.
But DX100's are cute...and those rubbery buttons are great
The DX21 is also brown instead of black

not bad for the dw8000 if its in good condition..
novation drumstation is very weak-sounding. my friend had one and we used to play out with it and record using it but he ended up selling it because it had no PUNCH!
but the dw-8000 is very cool, depending on what kind of sounds you're wanting to make. to me it has a very "doogie houser" feel to it, in reference to the opening theme song for that show (you may have no clue what i'm talking about). it makes some nice strings and dorky basslines that i love, as well as cool bell and trumpet-type sounds. love the filters. it's an all right price--you could be patient and get one for like 40

I ended up copping the DX7...too cheap to say no. Real good condition except the headphone jack doesn't work, comes in original dx7 hardcase and weighs a shitload more than it looks like it would. Had a bit of a play with the presets this afternoon but havn't tried programming it yet
PG-300 is way overpriced. I'm gonna get bcr-2000 soon as i have more synths without knobs.
