Topic: strange juno 106 problem
my 106 is acting up and i can't quite isolate the problem. i'm assuming its got to do with dying/dead voice chips, but....
when i play multiple keys at a time, especially with the suboscillator up, i get a lot of crackling/static noise (although this tends to go away after its been on for 30 minutes or longer). there is also sometimes a faint hum when i turn it on before i've played a note. yet when i start up in test mode so that i can isolate the problem voice, i get no hum, no static or crackling noises and it seems just fine. so if it is a voice chip issue, which i am assuming it is, i can't isolate which voice(s) are problematic and need replacement. i know i should just replace them all but i don't have the money. any advice? thanks in advance !
