My last purchase is death.. Once you start, forget about getting anything else done that month.
Damn you Technicolor!
So one might call you a "chocolate fudge-tackler"?
Thats was a new one.
this bitch is my new ride
sleek
its a bugger to get used to. when you forget that you can't stop pedalling it really throws your arse out of the saddle. takes 40 mins to get to work and everytime i get off my legs feel like i spent the day on the mountain snowboarding. going home is worse as its mostly downhill.
@ byron
oh, is that the one you got yourself to alleviate your midlife crisis? beautiful!
yeah queen sure is and so far its working well. you get so much more exercise because you can never stop pedalling as the bike moves
would certainly recommend one for the midlife crisis although having a girlfriend 8 years younger helps too!
producing some backstock for this spring/summer
edit: thanks queen, learning this interweb stuff day by day ;-)
@ byron
"would certainly recommend one for the midlife crisis..."
-> bought myself a matt black cust tec like two years ago (after being bikeless for more than 25 years).
the first few days i had aching muscles (not really used to any kind of sports here. but well at least i realized that there are still some muscles left). but after some time i got used to it. it's not that i do big tours with that thing. but even by riding it daily for 15 minutes or so, you can feel that something is going on with your body.
"...although having a girlfriend 8 years younger helps too!"
-> ha, ha, ha... yeah, that sure helps... maybe i should look for an 8 years younger boyfriend here too!
@ Zubeldia

not bought it yet but thinking about it:
archos 2
anyone had experiences with this? my ipod died and don't want to buy any apple hipster shit anymore.
i got this 3 weeks ago
now i need to figure out how to set-up the whole thing properly [help with vst anyone?]
warning with orders from thomann, check your bank account, they double charged me and it took 2 weeks of complaining to get sorted.

i recently got the pcr-300...from thomann, too..but everything worked well.
regarding set up parameters on controllers, i use the pcr editor software...you can also set things up from the keyboard itself.
check the product manual...quite good explained there.
so what is the attraction of a fixed gear bike? apart from the novelty value?

ha ha ha!
I think its clear a fixed gear is lighter, faster, more solid and low maintenance than ur average road bike. But I missed the control and portability of my old bike. Not to mention the fun
