great thread,really happy 'Angel Heart' gets props...

I recently had a proper out of body trip listening to the original Solaris soundtrack by Eduard Artemiev apparently made on this mad thing ,the A.N.S synth which allows you to draw sound,god knows how it works.

Coil also did an album with the ANS synth, very cool stuff. This synth is one of a kind I thought, it's in Russia. There's a youtube clip where they show how they use it, weird and intruiging indeed. It gives great ambient sounds.

My favourites are:
logans run
firestarter

predator has some wicked sound effects to sample. never get tired of that.

there are others but that's what comes to mind right now.

i wonder if roger roger ever did any sounds tracks?

gerald donald would be on the top of my list for scoring a film. thats for sure.

i would just like to add for the soundtracks mentioned the sounds were evaluated on their own merit. the aesthetics of the film are not relevant. the music is what is dope in my posting... the movie's are good too in my opinion but not so important here... be well
