Topic: Contribute tracks to the IFM ?

yes you can.
sendspace or something and mail ifm1,ifm2,ifm3 or ifm4@intergalacticfm.com
;-) what about IFM666?
Great.
Thx Moguh for the info.
Ehm, i forgot to ask.
What bitrate should the files have?
for mp3 = 320kbps at least
320kbps is prefered but 256kbps will also do

hey! i learnt something today!
is there particular stuff that IFM is looking for concerning space etc for IFM 3? Otherwise I can check if I have some.
Thx robots !
Now i know what to do.
gonna upload some fresh hip-hop and send links to ifm4, i think... been getting a little too heavy on the old school recently
one question: what is the preferred form of tags for submissions.
the playlist mostly has the artist all caps and the song title has standard punctuation. what tags does the playlist read? idv3?
No broad tagging needed for submissions ytz. Just Artist and Tracktitle will do.
All taggs you add like idv3 get removed normally before the track gets added to the database.
Please just name the track. Artist in caps and title in small letters, makes em easier to process.
ah thanks for the useful info mensch, will bear that in mind. (though i already sent this round of submissions, will definitely remember it next time).
by the way, who are the robots in charge of each channel? can we name them, or is that not ... allowed? i mean, i know who is in charge of ifm3, i get the feeling - based on no evidence, really - that as long as the cbs is running as ifm4 it will be rdjx/ifmx in charge of that channel.. i heard you were running ifm1... and ifm2... hum.... i have no idea!
will the same work for submitting a mix? or self-produced track? or only others' published works?
Works exactly the same schmolz. Just use sendspace or some other to upload the content you want to submit and send it over. You can use the email adresses on the contact tab that is placed on the IFM frontpage.
So if its for instance an electro ep you want to submit just mail it to IFM 1, discomix to IFM 2 ect
YTZ: IFX still rules IFM with Iron fist. Next to him a rather large group of robots is working to keep things steady.
IFM 2 is under command of IFX himself ofcourse
@menschmaschine: that's good to know! thx
OK, checking what I could send to IFM 3
OK, checking what I could send to IFM 3

Did you get the Atom Heart track?
If you have time, you could perhaps made a list?
Why do you guys want to hear the same records you've had since 1995?
we want to SHARE them.
I thought that's why master control gave you each your own show
