just saw "sleeper" from woody allen (1973) a good one but not one of the best of his beginnings according to me.
prefered a lot "love & death" pastiche of tolstoi epic novel !
funny to see how much woody allen was inspired by charlie chaplin in his first movies.
Conspiracy Movies! I was watching "Marathon Man" last night, by Schlesinger. And i tried to remember some more good 1970's conspiracy movies of that time, like:
- Parallax View
- Klute
- The Conversation
Anyone knows more of that 1970's stuff?
Try also "Brotherhood of the bell", classic paranoiac conspiracy movie
And maybe "The house of Rothschild", which is really good (and old)

just watched 'there will be blood' wow! one of the best films O think Ive seen all year.

loved this film.
Yeah - I was reluctant to see this when it first came out not a big Thomas Anderson fan - but it had a screening a the local indy cinema - absolutely amazing film reminded me alot of Kubrick's stuff - very powerful especially the score.
Am currently working in a pub and have served two people in four hours! Watching Bond - Dr No - hate and love Bond he's such a puppet and a yobbo - if he wasn't killing people for queen and country he's be a complete piss head starting fights in his local. What a twat!

It successfully broke thru the dumbass barrier and became entertaining enough. You probably wanna be drunk tho. Actually i thought it was alot funnier than no. 1 that was a total snorefest. Funny being really low rent funny ofcourse.

Starman - Good movie, not amazing, but a "sweet" story
Heat - Didnt like it at all...bo-ring
Suburbia - Nice little punk movie from '84 with flea from red hot
Chinatown - Good movie, but really overrated imo. Nicholson saves it for sure, dunawaye reeks
The Tenant - Surprised me a lot, Polanski is actually a good enough actor if in the right role (also applies to the above)
The new Superman - Boring...
FF4 & silver surfer - Crap
To live and die in LA - Better than i remembered, and the end title song "wait" by Wang Chung is soo good
DeepStar Six - incredibly dull
Weeds season 4 - ok entertainment
