Topic: TIPS for saving energy

saving ressources you will???

THAT Question or Topic i wanted to post on CBS today... sad

I'm not sure what saves more Energy in my case:

1) Driving my Car without Air Condition (It's out of order since last accident)-have to drop windows in summertime ergo->air drag coefficient goes -
       
           or

2) Fix & Repair the Air Condition and driving freshly with all windows closed


edit: i keep driving my car it's about the small amount of ressources between 1 and 2 okay smile
edit2 : will open my window during city driving ---> whata bout Autobahn?

f*ck airconditioning ... it only makes me sick and besides my car accelarates better when airco is turned off cool

i only have 1 lamp in the house with normal bulbs (cause of the looks), the rest is energy-saving.

yeah, i remember that mythbusters episode. i think the outcome was that windows open was better at low speed, airco better at high speed..

our bus has these small popup windows next to the real ones.. great natural airco!

I think the coolants used in maintaining and inside the colling unit are seriously  toxic. They totally fuck up the environment and in Australia ther eis a big problem with garages dumpin coolant fluid.

I have two bikes... and my work is about 15min drive. And i like travelling by train, always fun too meet people.

yes indeed, no car eithere or drivers licence, i thought i were only one. I got em bike im happy, one day i would like an old Audi Quattro when i rich or something and learnt drive

you are right ruud. what we do as individuals doesn't matter much anyway. at work early this morning we wasted products for a shit load of money because of bad leadership. what we do as individuals are nothing compared to such misstakes in the industry.
