I live a stone's throw from Anderlecht and have always been a fan, so not a "successupporter". You're right about them being the richest and buying all good players, but it sure is fun to support a team that always competes for the 1st place.
Still they have a wonderful team at the moment. That second goal by Suarez this weekend? Pure class. Hoping standard will do good in CL at well, last year sure was impressive (allthough they didn't get as far as Anderlecht the year before, Anderlecht beating Bordeaux after the poules).
Essevee at home can be tough. Maybe they can take advantage from Anderlechts European obligations.
Ik kan het spelletje goed relativeren hoor, geen paniek
That goal of Suarez was amazing, aside of that, he played a very good game too. Well, the last 5 years have been fantastic as an Essevee supporter but there were dark times too, going bankrupt in 1996, starting all over again and playing in the 4th division wasn't cool at all but hey, we're back I think our best transfer this year was keeping Berrier, that's a hell of an achievement for a little club like ours.
I really hope our teams will play good in Europe this year: RSCA, Standard, Genk and Bruges. AA Gent was a joke...
favourite players?

Its cannigia and maradona ftw.
Malpas !
Aye Maurice is my all time favourite Dundee United player. Even in the latter stages of his career he was a class act in a shite team. Should've earned more caps for Scotland than he did.
Who is the bottom guy ?
Nice pick but not as cool as Remi Moses

When he was at White Hart Lane he was definatley on terra-firma, the England managerial job sent him a tad cuckoo though.
goodbye anderlecht looool
They were nowhere . Just not good enough. I guess this can be expected when Lyon has the 12th largest budget in Europe.
Still the referee wasn't fair at all: not a single card (but enough "yellow" fouls) for Lyon and lots for Anderlecht, what's that all about?
had a real good bummer yesterday evening. was watching MOTD on bbc1, seeing that bycicle kick by johnson, the freaking screen goes on snow-modus!
I manage to remember a mid-week round, the telly throws the towel, goddamn what a bummer
Well, at least Feyenoord won last weekend...

the referee seemed pretty rude for anderlecht ,true.
but lyon was stronger without a doubt. boussoufa didnt touch a ball, reallhy disapointing.
for now the lyon new recruits has integrated wonderfully, bastos (what a goal), lisandro who has an incredible fighting spirit (grinta),cissokho & gomis (2 goals & usefull for his header game)
french championship will be very interesting to follow this year with bordeaux, marseille & lyon competing for the first place & underdogs like psg (my team), toulouse, rennes or lille
^^met zijn vogeltje op de lat...
