Re: another cheap record
Yeah, it was a fantastic surprise. These don't come along that often (I usually hear them happening to other people), so I'm very pleased with it.
@attaca: I even had two beers!

yep here in Belgium you can find that one with a bit of luck, I got it from a "rommelmarkt" a couple of years ago.
Yea, Electronic System is high on my wantlist, I like Rommelmarkt & I would like to take a Duvel bath.. - Ok, I'm movin'! It's too cold down here.
Seems that r4r is also nice to remember things.

Found today on a Sao Paulo flea market for 2€.
OK, no one probably knows this. But I am amazed by the variety of the Brazilian music scene.
Black Dog - Temple of Transparent Balls 2LP for under £3
Nice - that's a good album. Maybe they thought that it must be crap because of the early nineties cgi.
found this one in an antique store last week for 5 euri:
without the paper sleeve but it's still a great score and the records are like new.
nice one!

yeah, couldn't believe it when I stumbled across that one, it has been in my wantlist forever. Not as good as Mohnomishe but still a fantastic album (it's impossible to top Mohnomishe)
@ Fitzgerald: that's such a lovely song
checked it yesterday on YT en sounds great, SF is top notch and will grab anything coming on my path! Believe I have 3 albums and some stuff on compilations but cant have enough of that shit

they are my favourite band together with Coil, C93, DI6 and NWW
too bad these records are a bitch to lay your hands on as I haven't heard a bad track from Zoviet France.
Rapoon is great too (the solo project from Robin Storey from ZF)
yup, but on the other hand extra fun if you do find some (cheap/affordable)..

i can not imagine anyone have got that paper sleeve intact, i bought this when it came out and you could not get the record
out without ripping of that paper sleeve(actualy it was more like a tissue wraping folded round the plastic painetd sleeve)
and the way it was folded you had to tear it of on both sides to get to the record,, sitting in a mailer a few weeks on the way
here probably did not help,,, the one in the picture here is probably the best i have seen
suppose there would be someone that bought a second copy to keep intact, as i remember a guy i knew who bought the
"Popular Soviet" double tape twice, in order to keep the mould intact,,,, as you had to break it to get the tapes out, on the
that first edition
14€ for Axxess LP, Germany'83 EX
some dealers just look about the reissue prices..
7" Nancy Martin - Can't Believe

solcyst - Haha!... I Need Your Blood (Disco Dracula)
also € 0,50
i didn't know this song, but the sleeve and trackname got my attention

Finally something to add here
Geoff Bastow - Tomorrow's World - 50 cents.
It seems the end of August is the best time for doing fantastic deals, at least for me.
Yesterday I bought the personal eighties collection off of someone. Almost 300 records for 80 Euro (!). The covers are usually in good shape, the vinyl usually has hairlines, but no scratches.
Amongst the records are the two original Dark Day albums, 2 original Throbbing Gristle albums, 3 Suicide records, second Snowy Red album, a lot of alien sex fiend, 2 original The Gun Club albums, Liaisons Dangereuses album, Joy division, Logic System, 3 Kraftwerk albums, mekanik kommando, fad gadget, SPK, TC matic, the danse society, Schriekback, new order, that Red Zebra single, 2 belgen, DAF, front 242, telex, the birthday party, killing joke, the box, flux of pink indians, tones on tail, jah wobble, cabaret voltaire, clock DVA, voice farm, Kamagurka & De Vlaamse Primitieven, Arbeid Adelt, herbie hancock headhunters album, a few Zapp albums, four Chicago House compilations, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, Dead Kennedys, Yello, Mtume,... and many more like that.
Deal of a lifetime.
