yes, there`s only the onereal hit, btw, the scan/picture on dg`s looks awful.
i think there's a lot more to it then that (but i really grew up with this stuff, i still listen to them at least once a year)
anyhow from the albums "Room For Two" will always be my favourite, but then i knew Bea who lived at that room
with Dirk at the time,,, admitingly the Mecano stuff has it's feet in the guitar scene (dirk did the 1st Dutch punk 7")
but there's a tape (I think it's on Tago Mago - It's a split, with Robert Wyatt on the b-side, that has an amazing
really long cold wave like electronic piece) they have done - recomended!!, also they had stuff on tapes that were
circulating around, under the name Chateau Argol, that is using roland beatbox instead of the drumer
(btw the drumer and another member of Mecano used to bwork as the door people at the Paradiso club, so if you jumped around and been seen enough in their gig, you were gurenteed free pass to all events in the paradiso). the post Meccano project Flue did some realy good stuff too(and used to regulary support the Legendary Pink Dots).
some stuff that might not aged that well, was very good back in the day,,,,
