some of the tracks sounds like they got them of tape, then cleaned them, and then added some bass & treble on top,
it could actualy do with some hiss afaic

i haven't given the LP a good listen yet (just on my portable turntable, real turntables aren't set up right now), but veronica usually does a great job w/ remastering imo...and im excited to finally have the 'your passion' tracks on wax...a few of my fav cuts didn't make it from the inedits cassette, unfortunately...

A guy I know moved to Japan and asked me to for a place for his records (former resident DJ of the Bluetiek-Inn discoteque). I asked what the deal would be cause just putting them into boxes somewhere didnt make much sense to me big_smile And he told me I coulduse them and that if he would find someone to buy them he would sell the bunch (so far like 5 banana boxes with 12"s/Lp's and 2 banana boxes with 7"s, but not everything is here yet) but this selling is ofcourse pretty unlikely to arrange from out Japan and that if a sell would not happen I eventually could throw them away or something...
I said yes while at that point I really had no idea what kind of records he had but it turned out good so far smile

I bought it via discogs and he didn't put up a new copy once it was sold. So I guess he had just one copy for sale.

By the way, it has shown up on eBay a few days ago - the price was like 60-70$..

Re: your last purchases of records

hm, i guess i need to look at discogs a little more.. i kinda gave up on it because of all these idiots asking rediculous prices.
thanks for the tip!
