Oh, I think I put the wrong label (Sire) behind it...sorry. It's just the same one as on discogs. Discovered this track on a compilation once and now I'm happy to have the 12"! The version on the b-side (some kinda dub) I never heard and I like very much!

Re: your last purchases of records

PDC - Love For Sale (Viola Da Gamba)

Re: your last purchases of records

some random picks over the last month

new hertzschnitt by plastik berlin - kool band, somehow reminded me of medio mutante

minimal baby two - lots of unknown stuff which is mostly crap but some nice tracks by "stars" of the genre (solitude fx, nejet nok are my favourites)

kuruki re-issue - never heard the album before, just their singles.. well it's too much pop for me. of course it has its moments (kleenex, french beat are great) but overall i found this really annoying

new schallplatten aus lurup by "various 41/2 meets the hormonic calves" - schaul is my fav label at the moment, the weirdest of the weirdest

plus lots of obvious classix like death in june, carlos peron, cti, spk, etc - makes no sense tellin ya about that wink

yupp, I remember there was another great song besides those two I already mentioned so most likely it's the one you're talking about smile

anyway this is a good start for the label and I must admit that I love 1:1 re-issues much more than your typical "4 tracks from this tape, 2 from another one, 3 from hell knows where all in a decadent gatefold packaging with stunning new artwork" thing actually even if the omitted songs are crap. big_smile

and that department s single has been on my list since years and years.. very cool track! i have a later ep from them which is not so great though..

Hey Rude!

I think is not so hard to find on Ebay for a very nice price, you should check for the 7''! Yep i guess is their only good track at all..

about Live Skull i bought them in NY, the 1984 twelve inch is simply amazing! and i guess also a bit rare but i do not checked the price. Btw another fantastic track is inside the Bunnydrums 1983 LP, is called 'Sleeping', so great.

"yupp, I remember there was another great song besides those two I already mentioned so most likely it's the one you're talking about smile"
-> yeah, probably... it's really a beautiful track, imo the best one on the album.

"Hey, you went fair-recordshopping on 3rd christmasday... smile"
-> yep! smile last time we went there in spring together with Endfest and it was good too, so i thought it's a good idea to go there again and it was!

saw that number one ensemble already last time, but didn't buy it back then (i actually have no idea why, but sometimes it goes like that...). luckily it was still there... got it for 3 euro! i would say that's ein oberhammerknakenpoetserprice, nein? smile

check out:
you - electric day: http://synopsiselektronica.blogspot.com … -days.html
you - time code. http://synopsiselektronica.blogspot.com … ecode.html -> unfortunately the link seems to be gone!
sparque - take some time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GGYWytSDcI

profil is some german ndw / synth-pop stuff... you might like. gabbo was playing it in one of his rundfunkmuziek shows some years ago on the cbs.
