Topic: Advanced Italo

Let's continue here! Don't know if there's much stuff left, but why not give it a try.

My choice:

Parsifal - Carillon

Great one, but really cheesy. What language do they speak in the intro? Hilarious. There's even a German version of the into, sounds quite...interesting. Still a great tune, really advanced though.

Re: Advanced Italo

I think mainly slow melodic vocal italo is hard to digest for people not into it...

fast italo:
e. s. connection
peter richard

or electro breakbeat:
sal wood
fockewulf

are usually well accepted.

I dunno about that, its very close to "schlager" music and dutch vocal paling levenslied sound or something, like Koos Alberts, Benny Nijman etc. people usually love that stuff, no?

hard to say cos i'm not dutch. But imagining a comparison with italian pop music. Alexia (produced by robyx) for example has a different public, and if we take for granted that italo disco was dance music , then dance people of nowadays find it hard to keep with slow melodic beats.

but yes, perhaps as easy listening music then mike rogers or jules could be still understood.

still, neo italo is way faster and powerful.
(not talking about flashback records, more like francisco, andy romano)

Re: Advanced Italo

Re: Advanced Italo

I think also

myxoma
steve davil
john john

could be considered advanced italo...

Re: Advanced Italo

Mono Band's Ghost Town could be considered an advanced Italo Disco track, I guess.
Maybe Baricentro too.
